I edited this image in Lightroom using a preset from Wilde Presets called Matte Film 1. This is a new preset for me, so I’m still trying to get the hang of it. I like the dark moody feel to the image, but I need to bump up the exposure a bit to get a cleaner image, I think. But I was shooting at a relatively high ISO, so… I also extended the wall in Photoshop so that I could get more of 1/3 feel to the image. I also tried to photoshop the light bulb out of the ceiling; not a great job, but for a first try, I’m gonna call it a win.
THE STORY

I love clothes. And shoes. And purses. And other accessories. When I was a kid, I used to spend hours pouring over fashion magazines… I’d cut out clothes and tape them together to create whole new outfits. Then my mom bought me Fashion Plates for Christmas and my whole life changed. I used to sit for hours, mixing prints and colors.
I feel like I still do that but on a larger scale. I enjoy going through my closet and mixing and matching things in new ways. Playing with color and print to fit my mood. You can see my style by clicking here.
