Review and Giveaway: Betty Crocker Mississippi Mud Supreme Bars (Closed)

I know, can you believe I’m reviewing Betty Crocker Mississippi Mud Supreme Bars on my blog?  Trust me, I went back and forth over whether or not I would do this but, ultimately, I decided to review the Mississippi Mud Bars and offer a giveaway.  Why?  Because my children love having gooey chocolate snacks and I don’t mind them eating them.  In moderation.  That’s the key to maintaining a healthy lifestyle ~ moderation.

Tonight my daughters, Miss 16 and Miss 14, had a choir concert so I thought coming home to some Mississippi Mud Bars would be a nice treat for them.  And, boy, was I right!  They’re easy to make ~all you need is a stick of butter, some water, an egg and a shiny metal brownie pan ~ and they taste delicious.  And none of that hard crusty edging (my kids went straight for the middle of the brownie pan, which meant I had to get my piece from the edge) ~ these bars were moist all the way through.

So if you’re looking for a quick and easy after dinner treat, nothing can beat these Mississippi Mud Bars by Betty Crocker!

They’re not out in stores yet, but I do have a chance for you to win your very own Delicious Dessert prize pack…

Giveaway:  My Blog Spark has offered me a complimentary “Delicious Dessert” prize pack to offer to one of my readers who will be chosen using Random.org.  The prize pack consists of a box of Betty Crocker Mississippi Mud Supreme Bars and an 8×8 metal baking pan.  For a chance to win a Delicious Dessert prize pack just:

1.  Leave a comment telling me how you’d serve your Betty Crocker Mississippi Mud Supreme Bars.  I ate mine with a glass of ice cold milk.

*Please make sure you leave some way for me to contact you!

Oh I know the perfect way to eat these, and that’s with a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream dropped right on top. I warm brownie with cold ice cream melting on top – I can’t think of anything better.

I would serve them about 10 minutes after I got the out of the oven because my whole family likes warm brownies. We also wouldn’t be able to wait that long to eat them :-)
