Thank you, Kat. Hindsight being 20/20 I never should have started relaxing it (I did it because both my sisters used to get theirs relaxed). Yeah, it’s a process but my hair is so much healthier for it.

Dick, natural hair works best for me right now. My goal is to get healthy hair and I felt that the constant upkeep of chemical straightening was not helping. Thank you for your support, it’s nice to know there are people who understand and respect my goal.

Don, the cross advertising is simply disheartening, although I realize that it’s about the dollar. Still they could support businesses that cater to natural haired chicks and promote their products. One day, hopefully, they’ll get it. *sigh*

Girl, I’ve been dying my hair since I was 14. Not always with good results (it’s been OD green before). LOL But I love to experiment with color. The thing with dying it is that it definitely changes your hair. I left my natural color in the back (so that when I straighten it, there’s an underlay of dark brown with the burgundy) ~ I think it looks kinda cool. Let me know if you decide to dye yours.

Funny comment concerning Essence cross advertising. They are probably looking at things from a financial point, only, as always.

Your hair does look nice. Looks very spunky and funky and the color is absolutely beautiful. Spalding was definitely rocking the hair.

I am soooo afraid to dye my hair and I have no clue why lol! I also keep the #naturalhair tag open on Twitter. It is so good to see all the posts about being natural. I really love your hair in your pic and trust me I know brushing it out is a definite chore. It is so much easier for me to style it while it is wet. I figure as I become more comfortable to my hair I will try new things…
