It can all get so overwhelming. I don't do everything in one day but I do see the benefits of setting up some of the alerts (like monitoring my online reputation, etc) but there's no way in the world you can monitor everything and maintain your sanity. :-) I think if you focus on your blog and then read 2 or 3 other blogs every other day, you're doing well. Then at the bottom of the page it allows me to set up an alert for that word. How do you not get overwhelmed with email alerts of every word you have? Then you have to surf through THOSE set of alerts. I could spend forever going through them. Then some don't even apply to the word. Wow, this is a process!
