It is! :-) There are times when I walk by the mirror and I think "How'd my mom's face get on my body?" Or I'll say something and then remember the exact occasion when my mother said the same thing to me.

Marsha, thank you for visiting my blog and congratulations on your new addition. Now I know why the older folks used to say "Mothers and daughters can't be friends until the daughter becomes a mother." You do learn and appreciate everything so much more after you have a little one of your own.

Please give my best to your team at Macy's, this is an amazing program that you all have started and proud to have had the opportunity to help raise awareness about it.

Isn't that odd, when we are young we always say we will never be like our mothers. As we grow older the more like them we become. I notice it in some of the ways I have, and in the way I respond to things. I have to laugh whenever I catch myself acting like my mom.

I am familiar with that phrase "Give me my flowers now". It is so true that we must celebrate people while they are with us. I am a new mom. I now have a deeper love, appreciation and understanding of my mother.
Thank you for allowing us to share in your celebration of your mom and thank you for celebrating the people of Haiti.
I work at Everywhere and we're a member of the team that helps promote Macy's Heart of Haiti.

Thank you, Lisa. I spent a lot of years trying to push her over the edge, she teetered but never fell. :-)

Thank you. I know, there were some that I was looking at too and the fact that my purchase helps a mother is a big bonus.
