Monday Mingle: Scary Cats, Bird Gangs and Distant Cousins

Monday MingleMonday Mingle is hosted by Jen at Eighty MPH Mom.  If you’d like to participate, all you have to do is answer the 3 questions (you can vlog it, write it or stitch on a pillow, just make sure others can find it), hit the linky and you are part of the gang.  Make sure you visit other minglers and leave some comment love, after all, this is an interactive sport.

This week’s questions are:
1. What animal or bug are you completely terrified of?

I’m absolutely terrified of cats and birds.  I promise you, I think they’re conspiring against me.  Have you ever noticed how cats sorta creep along the side of walls, watching your every move, ready to pounce?  What are they doing that they have to be so suspicious of everyone?  And birds…  Those flying rodents!  Swooping down from the heavens, leaving their little gang signs on cars, statues and whatever else happens to be in their line of sight.

2. How many cousins do you have?

Between the Vaughns and the Moseleys, there are a lot of us.  I come from a long line of breeders.  And not just any type of breeder, we like multiples ~ I’m a twin, my aunt was a twin, my cousin had twins, I have twins, I’ve even heard that there may be a triplet in there somewhere.  Yep, breeding is our specialty.

3. What state are most of your relatives located in? How often do you see them?

We seem to have taken over the northeast part of the U.S., specifically the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia regions.

Next week’s questions are:
To be determined…

I didn’t know you were a vet!  That is very cool…

Oh now, cats are fun.  They do like to bug  people who don’t like them though.  LMAO at your description!  You grew up in Italy, and just went to Venice to visit? How come I didn’t know this?  I would love to hear your stories sometime.  I love Italy.

    Are you going to BlogHer?

You are so cute and are so fun to listen to…I just adore you :)

Hope you are having a great week!

Yep, I was in the Army for 4 years and my husband was in for 12 plus 4 with the National Guard.

Everyone keeps telling me that’s why I’m a cat magnet because they feel the fear.  LOL  I seriously tense up and everything around them.

I lived in Italy for 7.5 years.  Going to Venice for us was like going to Walmart, nothing exciting.  Looking back, I wanna kick myself in the head.  But we just took everything for granted.

I won’t be going to BlogHer.  I would love to do so  someday…

Bahhaahaha. Stitch it on a pillow!? LOL. Wow! I am humbled by your families lengthy commitment to the air force and their families etc. You look so pretty in your vlog today. Cats! Ha! It’s because you are scared of them. Cats are weird that way. They so know when you are not a cat person. You are so funny on Tuesday. Love it.

      I’m silly.  LOL

Yep, my family is definitely a military family (father, stepfather, aunts, uncles, sister, brothers~in~law, cousins, etc).

Everyone says that about cats, that they detect my fear.  It only makes me more afraid.  LOL

Your peeps are from Buckingham Virginia? I grew up in Virginia. Sweet.

    • http://livingoutsidethestacks.com DaenelT

Buckingham is like blink your eyes and you drive through it small.  Almost no one has ever heard of it.

Hiya! I’m late, but I don’t see the linky yet so I guess I’m not too late after all :D

We had a great weekend. I managed to take a few minutes to pray for military families and soldiers, despite how busy we were with Charlie’s party. Memorial day is more than barbecues :)

Cats? Really? Aww… Cats are always ready to pounce. It’s instinctual!

Breeders – LMAO! Lots of twins in your family, goodness.

Hope you have a great week!

    • http://livingoutsidethestacks.com DaenelT

Yeah, I didn’t see the linky either so….

The party looked like so much fun…  I’ll bet Charlie was beyond happy.

Girl, cats totally freak me out.  I.  Can’t.  Deal.

On behalf of the soldiers and their families, thank you for the prayers and kind thoughts.  I know they appreciate it.

  • Evstewart

    You’re a twin!  Did I know that?

I don’t like cats, but I’m not afraid of them…do allergies count?

    • http://livingoutsidethestacks.com DaenelT

Yep, there are two of me. Be afraid. LOL Actually, we’re very fraternal – total opposites.
