Shoe Style Saturday is just a fun way to show off your shoes.  You can write a post to go along with them or simply post a pic, it doesn’t matter, just share a picture, hit the link and then visit other participants.

Now on to What I Wore Wednesday…

What I Wore Monday

Gold Hoops ~ QVC
Watch ~ Kmart
Cardigan, Cami ~ Target
Tunic ~ Burlington Coat Factory
Jeans ~ Freebie

I know it’s a bad picture but I snapped it very quickly while trying to get out of the hotel in Missouri at 3:30 AM.  Not a good time to try to take a selfie, lemme tell ya.  A girl was tired and if you look carefully, you can see my eyes were barely open…  Unfortunately, that picture is the highlight of the day.  You can read about the longest trip home ever from the beginning to the end here and here.  Yes, it’s a two~parter….

Nails

Purple Nail Polish ~ Rite-Aid

About 95% of the time I wear black or dark brown nail polish, yesterday I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try a bright color.  Ummmm….mistake.  I’m so totally not feeling this.  Which is a pity because purple is my favorite color.

What color nail polish do you wear in the summer or do you stick to a signature color?

I’m linking up with Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday and Nina from Momma Go Round for Real Momma, Real Style.

Thank you.  I love the color of the sweater too, it’s far outside my comfort zone for color.

You are so fly! I love it. Sorry, I think the purple is hot says the girl with lime green fingernails as we speak. Why don’t you try a nice pink for the summer. I love my browns and darks for the fall and winter. The summer on the other hand I have fun with my colors.

Thank you.  I actually have a lime green color that I’m gonna try today.  I’m really trying to break out of my black and browns during the summer but it’s so hard…  You know how it is when you get stuck in a rut.

I like it! I think it looks good. What brand/shade? I want it. :)

My daughter loves the purple.  It’s from a limited edition LA Colors pack that I bought at Rite-Aid.  I think it was $4 for whole pack of minis.

Love this outfit. The sweater is such a great color and it looks so comfy. And, the shirt is just the kind I like the best.

Thank you.  I love tunics, I don’t have to suck in.  LOL

I’m not feeling the purple, either.  How about a nice shade of orange or melon?

    • http://livingoutsidethestacks.com DaenelT

I’m gonna try a sparkly pink tomorrow and see if that works better.

Like the outfit, the nail polish…meh.  It’s not a good purple.

I think I need a purple with more sparkle and a little more red to it.
