What I Wore Wednesday #13 and Real Momma, Real Style

It’s a fun meme all about shoes. For more information, click here.

This is my last week of work so I know I’m going to need these challenges more than ever now.  Last time I was a SAHM my wardrobe consisted mostly of the hub’s t~shirts, my own baggy sweats and flip flops.  My hair was always up in a knot on the top of my head.  And I rarely wore makeup.  In fact, when I started my job at Keystone College I made a big production out of tossing my sweats, but I promise you, those things are like Gremlins, they multiply when they come in contact with water and funk.

Adorable! :) Yup I had to get on the computer after all (oops this is Eden your newest follower) because my phone wasn’t showing me the option to follow and I worried I’d forget your blog address. After such a great find!!! Anyway, all the outfits are great but the best part? Your confidence and beauty. Believe it or not, there are some of us out here who like to stay behind the camera these days. It’s silly but there it is. So thanks for   leading the way!

      Hi again!

Trust me, this whole thing is an exercise in confidence.  I used to never let myself get photographed from the neck down (I have a whole host of body issues) but I’m trying to learn not to be as critical and to dress the body I have and not the one I want.

Sounds crazy that putting yourself out there helps you out, but it really does.

You look fab! Have you seen the new dresses Kmart is carrying called, SlimFabulous? The shipped me a few pieces and I am in love! Great to bounce around in. Love your hair too!

Girl, lemme tell ya, I was trying to get in to a pair of pants yesterday and darned if I didn’t have rolls busting out all over the place when I remembered that I had one of the SlimFabulous camis.  I ended up needing a belt!  Love that line.

Lovin’ the denim skirt up there!  I have this nasty old red cardigan that I bought at a thrift store when I was in high school.  I’m pretty sure several people want to see that thing go up in flames!

Girl, my husband and his sister actually set my mother~in~law’s bathrobe on fire ’cause she’d had it so long.  I have to hide my sweats to keep him from burning them too.

Love the outfits. Love that necklace from the 1st photo and that cute skirt and sandals. Wow that’s a great deal. I wouldn’t think it was from dollar general. Great find! I love that flower pin!
