I remember being in Springfield MO for an overnight, and there was a Battlefield Road. I asked everyone we encountered, “What battle?” but no one knew. Just shows to go you, we study the biggies, but so many others are ignored by history. Glad you had the time to scope things out and learn. When I went to see Mac in Louisiana, there was great history there too. Fascinating stuff!
