Hanging with My Sister

One of the benefits of moving from Pennsylvania to Missouri is that it has put me within driving distance of my twin sister, which means that I get to see my nephews…

The chubby baby, whom I affectionately call “Baby Danny” even though that’s not his name. In the middle of our conversation, Baby Danny got up and started walking towards the hubs…

And the other, whom I call “Little A” even though he assures me that he is, in fact, a “big boy”…

After being away from my sister for over a decade, I’m thrilled that I now get to capture special moments with her and her family…

How often do you get to see your family? Do you all spend the holidays together?

Awesome!!  There is nothing like family time.  We’re about 15 minutes from my date and 45 minutes from my mom.  The rest of my family is at least 4 hrs away in NY.  We don’t see them often enough – usually 2-3 times a year.  =(  My goal in 2012 is to truly change that.

Here’s to you all reaching that goal, that was one of the bonuses of moving here ~ I’d be closer to my family, now we just have to get in the habit of visiting more.

Nothing beats family time.  I’m so looking forward to moving back to the UK so I can see my loved ones more often.

Right? But I do love reading about all of your travels (living vicariously and all) but I totally understand about wanting to be close to family. Here’s hoping it happens soon.

We’re an hour away from both of our parents & all of our sisters except one – who is 4 hours away. We try to visit with each side of our family once a month.

That’s so cool, I love seeing the pics of Phoenix and Arianna with the cousins ~ they look so happy.
