I had grits and eggs for breakfast this morning... *rolls my eyes* Absolutely perfect.

I loved driving around Mississippi and just seeing the historic sites. My plan is to get back to New Orleans and take some pictures of my old stomping grounds... Really, there isn't anything like the southern half of the U.S.

Ohhh, I know, right? Aren't Southern towns lovely? I love driving around and looking at the old houses (I even snapped some pictures in front of them). They're just gorgeous and full of history.

My father's family is from Mississippi. I've spent a little time there myself. As a matter of fact, earlier this year I had an opportunity to relocate to Jackson for a positiion with my company (though I declined it).

I like the south, I've lived here for most of my life and I plan on staying for the rest of my natural life...........that's the plan anyway.

I like the thought in living in a place where grits are on the breakfast menu and sweet iced tea on the dinner menu.

There are just such beautiful towns to visit in the South. My brother-in-law live in Alabama and I've only just started to visit some of the historic sites around where they live. I need to visit more often! And these pictures of Mississippi are just beautiful!

I love finding little towns like that...great photos (as usual).

My weekend? I have not left the house except to throw the pumpkins in the vacant lot across the street, since Wednesday. We didn't even make it to church last night. But all that ends today--sigh. At least, a good thing, it starts with church!

Then I'm off to school to catch up for the week (as if)...
