Living Outside the Stacks

Who was a photographic slacker this week? Looks around. I was. And to be honest, I didn’t do much in the way of getting dressed either. The hubs has been on vacation for the past week and a half (this is his first vacation in over 13 years), so the family and I have been kicking back and enjoying each other’s company. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned from my photography friends is to remember to sometimes put down the camera and be in the moment. I’ve been in the week. But I do have two pictures to share:

What I Wore Sunday: Looking All Festive and E’erything

The “dress” is actually an embroidered tunic that I bought from HSN.com about a year or so ago but wear very rarely. I was never really sure how to style it, I mean jeans are always an option but I wanted to dress it up. So I put a black sheath dress on under it (can you believe I do not own a black skirt?), added black tights and a black cardi and I fell in love all over again. It just screams festive and we were celebrating the birth my Lord and Savior last week…

Christmas Socks

My daughter has been rocking her stylish Christmas socks! They have polka dots and faux fur, what’s not to love?
