Hi there! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty nice. I spent most of Saturday vegging on the sofa, got sucked in to watching the Hallmark Channel. It was a Janet Oke weekend. I’ve never read her books but, man, was I swept away by the romance, positive messages of putting God first, and loving your family. hand me the tissues

Sunday was pretty nice as well. The family and I went to church then I came home and made a big ol’ pot of white bean and beef soup. So delicious! The rest of the day was spent doing, what else, but laundry.

What about you? Did you do anything exciting?

As I said last week, I’m participating in #2014dailyselfie, so here are my submissions:

I started reading this book by Beth Moore. So very intense and full of truths. I thank God every day for His love and forgiveness.

My baby celebrated her 17th birthday this week. One time, when she was about 8 years old, she looked me dead in the eye and said: “Mom, besides me, which of your other kids did you want?” She’s the youngest of 5.

My first cup of coffee in my new office. Hat tip to the hubs for helping me move.

I arrived at work at 7 AM, but I was so busy that I didn’t get my first cup until almost 10 AM.

So many people tell me that they love Fist Bump Friday because it makes them happy to share their good news and to read other people’s news.
