THE AGELESS STYLE LINKUP
Hi, welcome to the Ageless Style Linkup. The linkup runs the first Tuesday of each month and features 10 women over the age of 40 styling an outfit based on one theme, and, because we’re all so different, each theme interpretation is different. Each month, one of the co-hosts invites a guest co-host to join us for the linkup. Our goal is to show you that style is ageless…

MY LOOK
I live in Louisiana. It’s hot here. And I’m missing fall something fierce, so I’m happy that the theme for this month is Fall colors. Normally, when I think fall colors, I think about golds and burgundies and browns and purples. I rarely think navy. I’m not sure why… But when I received this blouse in the mail, I knew it’d be perfect for this month’s Ageless Style theme.
The blouse was gifted to me from a new fashion friend {and Heartfelt Group Member} of mine, Heidi from Fashion Mama Pro. Isn’t it the cutest? I’ll be honest, this isn’t a top that I would’ve purchased for myself, but now that I’ve tried it? I absolutely love it. I think what made me nervous about the top is the incredible amount of lace. I just didn’t know what I’d do about undergarments. I mean, I’m pretty busty. To make it work, I found a navy bra that matched perfectly. Problem solved. I mean, you can barely see the straps, although I do wish the cups were a little less visible…
As for the necklace, I found it at Walmart. I know, right? It looks like purple druzy and I wear it with just about everything. In my mind, purple is a neutral {seriously, try to name a color that doesn’t go with purple}.
These booties are hands down my favorite. They’re like chameleons – they can go either rock and roll or boho. It really just depends upon the top. And they’re super comfortable.
