Tomorrow is my last day of work. I’m not sure if I should cry tears of joy or tears of sadness. I’ve only been there three years, but it feels so much longer than that. But it also feels like I’ve just arrived. Things are so uncertain — I don’t have a job, first of all. That has me feeling a bit uneasy. I’m a librarian. Library jobs aren’t the easiest things to come by. And, honestly, I’ve been librarian-ing for so long that I don’t know what else I can do.

Part of me kind of wants to take this time to get settled in our new home and learn the area, but the rational part of me knows I’m gonna miss working and having a paycheck. So, I don’t know…

Anyway, enough of that… Let’s get to the clothes.

I wore this outfit to work on a Friday. Fridays are casual days for us, but I still like to dress things up. Because my top is sheer on top, I did wear it with a cardigan, but since we {Squeekerz and I} are outside just before work, I decided to keep the cardigan off because it was so darn hot.

The library, on the other hand, freezing. So cardigans are necessary, regardless of the sheerness of my top.

I’ve always been a fan of peasant blouses because they’re easy to wear and can be worn with just about anything. This one is a soft gauzy material, which I like because it doesn’t cling. The blouse is semi-sheer, so I tend to pair it with a black camisole for modesty.

l know I look angry, but I’m not really. I think maybe I was squinting or something. I dunno…

I think I told you before that you’d be seeing a lot of this bag. How did I not realize how versatile this bag is? I mean, it’s been sitting in my closet unused for over a year. I can honestly say I’m making up for it now.

Do you wear peasant blouses or am I the only one who still finds them stylish?
