It seems like I live in these brown wedges. They’re just so incredibly comfortable. In fact, I have a black pair just like them that I actually wear just as often. I will, at some point, get a picture of myself wearing them for proof.
Yesterday I wore those wedges to Miss 15’s school. Her teacher sent us an email letting us know that our daughter was getting an award for her hard work and dedication in her English class. She was also Student of the Term this year…
Anyway, Miss 15 didn’t know about the award or about our visit, so she was pretty surprised when she looked over and saw us sitting in the front row. As of matter of fact, she said she was just talking about all the supportive parents in the audience and fussing about us not being there when she spotted us in the front row… I’d say someone owes us an apology.
She won her award in English for her writing skills. Her teacher also said that she’s the “bad grammar and misspelled words spotter”. I can vouch for that, she once made me walk almost 2 miles so she could take a picture of a misspelled sign to show her teacher. By the time we arrived, the sign had been corrected!
