Butterfly Lovers: HP 210 Vivienne Tam Edition Netbook

Vivienne Tam Butterfly Lovers NetbookOh.  My. Word. Guess what I got in the mail today? The HP 210 Vivienne Tam Edition Netbook. Drool Now if you remember my Monday Mingle from a few weeks ago, I talked about wanting this netbook (I even sent messages to my husband’s friends begging them to steer him in the direction of this sweet little thing).

In fashion parlance, this little cutie is called a “Digital Clutch” and it is every bit as fashionable as my favorite “toddler stealing bag” and powerful as my husband’s laptop. I mean, I love this thing. First of all, let’s start with the color ~ brushed gold, y’all. They call it champagne, but it looks like brushed gold. And then there are sweet little butterflies on the cover as well as on the wallpaper. Oh, and get this, the Start button is a butterfly that flitters away when you click on it. suh~weet.

The Butterfly Lovers theme represents Tam’s Spring 2010 line and alludes to a tragic Chinese legend about a pair of lovers who are separated during life and reunited at death when their spirits become beautiful butterflies and fly away together. Beautiful, no?

And speaking of beauty, every fashion savvy lady knows, you never go anywhere without a compact, so this little baby has it’s own. Yup, you can turn the camera into a mirror and fix your lipstick. gasp, swoon, faint Don’t think I’m just concerned with the exterior, let’s talk interior (with me, beauty isn’t just skin deep).

It comes with Windows 7 Premium already loaded ~ none of that starter stuff for this little girl. Yes There’s also HPQuickWeb which allows for instant access to social networks, Skype, email and other Web resources in seconds. There’s also Integrated Beats audio for a premium listening experience. Seriously, the speakers on this thing are amazing!

Specification wise, the netbook is only about 1″ thick and weighs about 2.69 lbs. It fits in my purse! In my purse, y’all! The netbook has a 10.1″ diagonal BrightView Infinity Widescreen Display (so very clear and sharp). There’s also 2 GB memory and a 93% full~size keyboard.

To say that I’m in love with this netbook would be an understatement. Thank you to my hubs ~ dude, you rawk! I owe you one.
