Hey, hey, hey! How’ve you all been? I feel like I’m emerging from hibernation or something. It has been months since I’ve written a style post. I have to give to you all who keep going all year long. As soon as it starts to get dark early, I’m out. And speaking of, can we all band together and put an end to this whole Daylight Savings Time? Let’s just leave the clocks where they are, amiright?

Along with the longer days, we’re having the most beautiful weather here. Today it was in the 80s. The 80s. In March. My birthday month has never been so perfect. I turned a whole 43! The Hubs and I celebrated by going to Americus and Savannah.

I wore this multicolored caftan to work the other day and felt all, ummmm, sassy. I hate that word. But that’s how I felt. This is the first time I’ve ever worn leggings to work. I see other women in them and think they look cute and then I see myself in them I’m all nope, can’t do it. But I think it worked because the caftan is mini dress length.

I’m still working on ways to integrate my Fitbit Charge HR into my jewelry wardrobe. I think the addition of the leather cuff and the metal bangles makes it look a tad bit more bohemian. I’m trying to soften the tech look. Any ideas?

I got myself a little birthday gift too: a subscription to Ipsy. I was so excited when that little pink bubble wrapped package arrived.

A little known secret is that I absolutely love makeup, I’m just not very good at it.And I’m really bad at trying new products. I’ll find a product and use it until it gets discontinued. With Ipsy I get the chance to sample products I wouldn’t otherwise try. And it’s relatively cheap at just $10 per month.

Here’s a list of what came in my March Glam Bag:

  1. Nudestix Lip + Cheek Pencil in Mystic
  2. Luxie Short Shader Eyeshadow Brush
  3. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum
  4. Make Up Forever Primer
  5. Collagen Spa Treatment Mask (2)
