Calm {Poetic Winter Photography Challenge}

A verse from one of my mother’s favorite songs. When I was little she used to sing it all the time.  How can you not find calm in the midst of such beautiful words?

When I’m in need of peace and quiet, I often grab my camera and go to the Cape Girardeau Conservation Center. Just walking in the woods, listening to the whisper of the wind helps me to center.

And at the end of the night, when everyone is snuggled in their beds, I cozy up on the sofa with a book and a cup of green tea.
