Coffee Talk {living outside the stacks}

I’d like to welcome you to Coffee Talk. If you’re new here, this is where I share some of the great and not~so~great stuff that I find on the web. Topics range from news stories that leave me scratchin’ my head to DIYs that I think are absolutely clever. And, who knows, there may even be a recipe thrown in here or there just for fun.

If you follow me on Facebook, then you know I’m totally obsessed with The Golden Girls. I watch every episode and can quote the show frontwards and backwards. Well, now there’s word that The Golden Girls is going to be made into a game of Clue. I am beyond excited. Like squealing and celebrating with big ol’ hunks of cheesecake excited. You can find all of the details here. Cool, no? I’ve already let my family know that I’m highly interested…

And speaking of retro TV, did you hear Roseanne is coming back in 2018? I’m not sure how I feel about this. I mean, I loooooved the show when it first came on but then it started to get a little over~the~top and I lost interest. I won’t lie, there are some shows that I’ve wondered how they would play in this day and age {Murphy Brown and Designing Women to name a few}, but I don’t think that means they should come back.

I was at Dollar General the other day and stumbled across a new hair care line geared towards African American women. It’s the Pantene Gold Series. I cannot get over how soft and manageable my hair is. And I’m not just saying this because The Hubs works for P&G, I’m saying this because it really works. If you’re a curly haired person and your curls are dried out, I cannot recommend these products enough. Honestly, one of the hardest things about wearing my hair natural is finding products that keep my hair hydrated without it feeling greasy or getting weighed down.

Now, it’s your turn… What’s going on in your world? Anything have you scratching your head or belly laughing? Is there a book I absolutely must add to my TBR Shelf? Have you cooked or ordered anything tasty?

Cheers,

Daenel T {Living Outside the Stacks}
