What I Wore {In the Closet}

I have to admit, I haven’t been doing such a good job of taking pictures the past few weeks. It’s just been so dark and dreary by the time I get home from work that all I want to do is slip into my comfy cozies and veg in front of the television. The few times that I have taken pictures, they just haven’t come out nice enough for me to share. So I’m sharing bits and pieces from some of my favorite outfits this week…

Cream Cardi, Green Tee and Brown Floral Skirt {Living Outside the Stacks}

Cardi & Tee Shirt ~ Walmart

Skirt ~ Goodwill

I think this is one of my favorite skirts, it’s a soft floral corduroy that warm but not heavy. I like the muted creams, berries, browns, greens and teals because I can wear it with a variety of tops. And don’t get me started on the boots, tights and socks.

Brown Boots Mustard Tights and Blue Dress {Living Outside the Stacks}

Cardi ~ Walmart

Dress & Tights ~ Target

Boots ~ Sebago via HSN.com

By far the best clothing purchase I’ve made this year are those boots by Sebago. I wear them with just about everything ~ skirts, jeans, dresses, etc. I like that they’re versatile and add a bohemian flair to everything I wear. If you’re looking for a great pair of lace ups, those babies are on sale at HSN.com right now.

Citron Cardi, White Button Down and Sequin Tank  {Living Outside the Stacks}

Cardi ~ Target

Sequin Tank ~ JC Penney

Button Down ~ Walmart

My daughters are always making fun of me because I’m obsessed with sequins. I firmly believe that sequins are always appropriate. Even in the library. And, yes, I did wear this sequin tank to work. I felt so funky and dressy all at the same time. And, seriously, how can you go wrong with citron and gold?

What quirky item have you added to your wardrobe?
