When my kids were growing up I used to tell them t When my kids were growing up I used to tell them they should do one crazy thing in life that’ll give them a funny/wild/I can’t believe I did that memory. Nothing shady or too dangerous 👀 just memorable. So here’s my story: when I was stationed in Korea I used to visit the local communities and sometimes I would stay the night with Korean families. I didn’t speak Korean and they didn’t speak English but we’d draw pictures and gesture. I was pregnant, so a few of the ladies would always bring me food or send their kids with something. When I was leaving Korea, a few of the families came to the post to wish me well. They called me “Dano” {which is funny because my cousin and sister call me that too}. I often wonder how they’re doing... Do they ever think of that silly American soldier? I wish that we’d kept in touch... Do you have a story?
