This week just flew by… I spent the last few days in Baton Rouge at the LOUIS Users Conference {a conference for library consortia}. The sessions were so interesting and I can honestly say that I learned things that I can use in our library. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw my pictures from the event. But, after a week away, I’m happy to be home.
- I don’t know if you’re anything like me, but I looooove sweater weather. I especially love quirky sweaters. And this one just may be going into my shopping cart. I know I hate birds, but I also have this thing for birds on clothing. Maybe it’s like I’m facing my fears? I don’t know, but how cute is the sweater?

- Many years ago, Tim McGraw had this beautiful song out called Don’t Take the Girl… Y’all, I absolutely love this song. The story, the emotion, that song is everything. Anyway, he recently remade the song with Blanco Brown and, you guys, I die. Have you heard it? Read the story and listen to the song. *heart melt*
- My favorite smell in the entire world is Pier One. Yes, the store. Unfortunately, Pier One has closed in our area, so no more going in and enhaling. Until now. I recently discovered these candles and *sigh* it reminds me of the all the days when I used to roam the crowded aisles of Pier One touching all the things.
- A little over six year ago, The Hubs called and told me that he needed a snack for a Halloween themed party at work. *gasp* I don’t do Halloween. And certainly not on short notice. I had to think fast. So, I came up with these Meatloaf Mice. Aren’t they fabulous?
