Not Green #OurProject52 {Living Outside the Stacks}

It’s still winter around these parts, so I had to get creative with this week’s challenge and use a house plant. One that I haven’t killed.

I remember reading many moons ago that you should always have something living in each room, you know, other than yourself and your family.

My dad used to believe the same thing and always kept plants in the house. Mostly cacti. Do you know how painful it is to have your mom pull those little pricklies out your heiny? Yeah, my parents were old school, no childproofing in our house. They figured if we got stuck enough we’d be careful.

I’m just a bit more traditional, so I keep leafy plants. I kill leafy plants. But I adore them. And they remind me of my dad…

Do you have plants in your home? What’s your preference? Leafies, succulents, or cacti? But, more importantly, is it green in your neck of the woods?

Cheers,
