Happy Valentine’s Day!

My husband and I aren’t mushy people. In fact, we’re the people who make fun of mushy people. So we almost didn’t bother to celebrate Valentine’s Day but then I found out my friend, KB, was hosting a Valentine’s Day Dinner at her coffee shop. Once I saw the menu, I knew I had to buck tradition and make reservations. In fact, I was so excited about the meal that I told my sister~in~law and she and her husband joined us.
So what was on the menu?

Appetizer ~ Shrimp Cocktail with Jumbo Lump Crab
Salad ~ A wonderful blend of greens, mushrooms, tomatoes, apples, celery and balsamic dressing Main Course ~ Filet Mignon with Mushroom Sauce and Green Beans
Desert ~ Vanilla Cake with Strawberries (Trust me, this picture doesn’t do the cake justice. We were so full that we had to take our desert home with us.)

Doesn’t that sound delish?

Needless to say, I did not workout today and I don’t feel in the least bit guilty. My husband and I shared a wonderful evening of laughter and conversation, so if I miss out on a few lunges, I’m cool with that.
