Hi! How are things in your neck of the woods? Everything is going well here. It’s been stormy for the last few days weeks but at least it’s not cold, so I’m not complaining. Much. I dropped my phone a week ago and had to go without a cell for the weekend. I know it’s a first world problem and e’erything but, y’all, I felt so disconnected. When my new phone arrived, I almost wept with joy. Of course, this means that I don’t have that many pictures to share for this week…

We’ve entered week 10 of Run for God, that means race day is 20 days away. It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come. I’m still not where I want to be {able to run without stopping} but I’m not where I used to be. One of our mottos is: “Complete, not compete.” That’s what goes through my head as I take each step. For the next 20 days, I’ll be working on my endurance and planning for the next round of training. Maybe a half marathon? I’m still feeling pretty ambitious, so who knows… Ironman, marathoner, and double amputee, Scott Rigsby will be running with us. I’m all kinds of excited about that. You can find out more information here.

I’ve actually started shopping for my skirts based on how pretty of a backdrop they’ll make for my coffee pictures. Isn’t that funny? It’s a good thing whoever donates clothes to our Goodwill has really good taste, because I have yet to be disappointed by my pictures or the skirts…

The Hubs surprised me with a new mug! Seriously, how cute is that? It’s shaped like a camera lens. I haven’t used it yet but I can’t wait. And, um, what’s up with the second head growing off my chin?

Are you on Instagram? I’m @4daenelt, give me a yell. Anyway, do you ever participate in their Weekend Hashtag Project? I try to do so every now and then, it helps to get the creative juices flowing {it’s really easy to get stuck in a photographic rut}. This week’s theme was “thrift shop”. I took this at my favorite antique store, Annie Laurie’s Antiques, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. I’ve never been featured, but there’s a first time for everything. Right?

Isn’t this the sweetest little vintage chair? The Hubs found it over the weekend and brought it home for our 3~year~old nephew to use. You will never understand how happy that kid was to see that chair.

What was the highlight of your week?
