Oh my gosh, isn’t it hard to return to work after a long weekend? Seriously, there should be some sort of rule that we should ease back into the work week with a half day on the Monday following a 3 day break. Who’s with me? I’ll be relying quite heavily on large amounts of coffee to get me through the day. Not that that’s any different from any other day of the week…
So what’d you do with yourselves? We did a whole lot of nothing. Well, I did watch The Walking Dead marathon on AMC. I am sooo ready for that show to come back on the air. That one and Hell on Wheels. Have you watched that yet? One of my faves.
Have you tried Breyers Gelato Indulgences yet? If not, run out and get some right now. You will thank me later. I received some free from Influenster and *insert eye roll here* so rich and creamy. I tried the Triple Chocolate but I’ll be on the look out for the other flavors as well.
The Hubs and I were referred to this store by Gail at Annie Laurie’s, she knows how much we enjoy looking for artwork and other little oddities for decorating our home. If you’re in Cape, go take a look.
I’ve seen yarn bombing in other places, but never in downtown Cape before. This made me all kinds of excited. I think it’s a promo for this new yarn shop called Yearn 4 Yarn.

The Hubs and I have put this on our Bucket List. Can you imagine boarding this and riding up and down the Mississippi River?
I’m still running. I don’t want to undo all the hard work that I’ve done. In fact, I’m seriously thinking about signing up for another 5K. If I do, it’ll be Hoops for Life.
