Monday Wrap~Up

I really need to come up with a steady name for this post. I like consistency.

Anyway, it’s a new month so that means new beginnings so here’s today’s food and exercise journal:

I know I was supposed to start my 5K training today but I was stopped in my tracks by 20 degree weather. I’m tough but not that tough. And my dog started planning a revolt so we turned around and ran back home (does that count?).

The Tools I Used
Pete Cohen asked us to try using a variety of tools to assist us in meeting our weight loss goals and to do a little wrap up of how the tools worked for us:

1. Eat slowly ~ still need to work on this
2. Eat only when hungry ~ did really well
3. Make an effort to move during the day ~ I moved almost all day
4. Get 20 to 30 minutes of exercise ~ I did more (over achiever!)
5. Carve out time for myself ~ had a whole day to myself
6. Sleep, sleep, sleep ~ I will be going to bed as soon as I finish this post
7. Drink 84 oz of water ~ Still working on it
