Navarre Beach Florida {living outside the stacks}

The Hubs and I have been in Navarre Beach, Florida for the past few days… A combination anniversary and reunion trip {our friends from Pennsylvania, whom we haven’t seen in probably 8 or 9 years, came down in their RV}. It has been so much fun catching up and relaxing and eating and all the things that come with. If you’d like to see pictures from the trip, visit me on Instagram.

Anyway, I thought I’d share a few of the pieces that I brought along with me, so you can see what I wear when I travel:

Neon Sweater Jeans {living outside the stacks}

Sweater {Target} – Similar

This yellow sweater is perfect for a little pop of color in a sea of neutrals. It’s thin enough that I could layer it with a jacket and a cardigan if I got too cold {and lemme tell ya, Florida is cold right now}.

Coffee Tee {living outside the stacks}

Coffee Tee – Similar

A fun graphic tee. I love love love graphic tees and almost always have a couple of them stowed away. They’re just fun and make great conversation starters. I’m naturally shy, so this helps me out.

Laurie Felt Underpatch Weekender Jeans {living outside the stacks}

Laurie Felt Classic Denim Underpatch Weekender Jeans – Exact

These jeans are a staple in my travel wardrobe {I’ve worn them several times on the blog, you can see them here and here}. First of all, they’re comfortable as heck. Second, they can be dressed up or down. For example, I wore them yesterday with a taupe hoodie and Adidas. Super comfortable and chic.

Musse and Cloud Ankle Boots {living outside the stacks}

Musse & Cloud Anzel Ankle Boots – Exact

I big puffy heart these boots and wear them with everything. They’re comfortable and stylish and, gosh, they can go from boho to moto depending upon the outfit. And, because they’re raw leather, they get scuffed and worn and become customized to your wear and tear.

Amazon Essentials Women Lightweight V Neck Tunic Sweater {Amazon}

Amazon Essentials Women’s Lightweight V Neck Tunic Sweater – Amazon.com

I absolutely adore tunic sweaters and have a number of them in a variety of colors. They’re perfect for wearing with jeans, leggings, and skirts. You can even wear them over dresses.

Tie Waist Waffle Knit Shirt {Amazon}

V-Neck Tie Waist Shirt – Same

These shirts are everything. Like seriously. They’re great on their own and as a layering piece. I own several and wear them for casual days and for dressing up with a pair of slacks. I also like that the sleeves are long enough that I can pull them down over my palms without the shirt getting all funky.

What do you pack when you travel? I try to stick to neutrals that can be layered with bulkier items for pops of color and warmth. Do you do the same?

Now go play in your closet,
