So remember a few months ago when I grabbed the scissors and cut off all my hair? You can see the what it looked like by clicking here. Anyway, it’s been nearly a month now so I decided to do a hair update as well as a review of the Pantene Truly Natural Collection.

Hair Growth {Living Outside the Stacks}

When I first received the products, I had planned to use the Co~Wash first but then I thought hmmm, why not start with a clean head? So I used the Clarifying Shampoo and worked my way down the line. Here are my opinions of each product:

Clarifying Shampoo ~ This made my hair and scalp feel soooo clean without feeling dry. That is big in my book. My hair gets incredibly dry, so anything that helps to add or maintain moisture is good in my book.

Deep Conditioner ~ I let this sit in my hair for 3 to 5 minutes and still felt like I got a good conditioning. My plan is to try it next time with a shower cap and a 10 to 15 minute conditioning session.

Co~Wash ~ Left my hair feeling clean and moisturized. There was a lot of slip and detangling power. I’ve used this daily without any problems.

Defining Curls Styling Custard ~ Made my hair feel crunchy but kept the curls in place all day. I added 2 extra pumps of the Argan Oil to add a little softness to my hair.

Shine Serum with Argan Oil ~ Added shine and moisture without feeling greasy or tacky. I prefer to use two pumps of this mixed with the Defining Curls Styling Custard. Then finish with an addition two pumps.

Overall, I was pleased with the products and will definitely add the Clarifying Shampoo, Deep Conditioner, Co~Wash, and Argan Oil to the rotation. I like the light scent, it’s fresh and clean. Not floral but clean. Not too overpowering; I work in a library and have to be aware of people’s allergies and sensitivities.

Products in the Truly Natural Collection can be purchased at your local retailer  or online for as little as $4.99.
