Pantone~Inspired Fall Color Challenge: Day 3 {In the Closet}

Blue Cardi, Ikat Blouse, Burgundy Skirt, Black Tights, and Brown Shoes {Living Outside the Stacks}

I think I may have hit a record. This is the longest I’ve ever stuck with a clothing challenge and certainly the most times I’ve ever posted fashion related items in a row. Go, me!

Today’s color is “Koi”, which is described as a burnt orange. I have a couple of orange items, but I kinda wanted to see how this blouse would look paired with the skirt and cardi. I’m not completely sold. Maybe a belt?

I do like the skirt though. It’s a wool blend that’s totally itchy and requires a slip or something to keep it off my skin but I like the artisan feel to it. I kind of want to stitch some green leaves along the seams and add a few flowers. I think it’s just begging for an alteration.

Do you do that? Alter or your clothes, or do you keep them as is?
