Brightech Lamp Review {living outside the stacks}

The Hubs and I are in the process of decorating our new home {which will officially be ours in a couple of days} and one of the rooms that I’m most looking forward to decorating is the guest room. Every other room in the house is shared space with The Hubs, so I must consult him. But this room is mine all mine {insert maniacal laughter here}.

My goal is to create a warm and cozy room that feels like home away from home. And, so far, the hardest thing about decorating the room has been figuring out the lighting.

I knew I wanted to create a cozy little reading nook, and that I’d need a lamp, but I wasn’t sure exactly what kind of lamp or what style. So I was basically taking lamps that I’d used in other areas of the house and plopped them in the room, but none of them fit. I then spent time scouring different websites, but was overwhelmed with all of the choices. Then I received an email from a Brightech rep asking if I’d be interested in trying out a lamp for review. Uh, yes, please!

Choosing a lamp from Brightech was so easy! First you decide the type of lighting you need: floor lamp, table lamp, task lighting, etc. Since I knew I was creating a reading area, I chose a floor lamp with downward lighting {the model shown is the Montage Floor Lamp in oil rubbed bronze}.

MY THOUGHTS

I wish I’d taken photos of the lamp before it was assembled… Y’all, it was super simple to put together and instantly fabulous. And it comes with a single LED light, which is bright enough for reading and incredibly easy on the eyes. The styles range from vintage-look to modern to contemporary, so I’m sure they’ll fit in with any decorating style. And the lamps are reasonably priced {ranging in price from $32.99 to $113.99}.

You can purchase your own lamp, there are styles for every decor, by clicking here.
