This year I’m participating in three different photography challenges. I know, I know. I do this every year and by the middle of February I tap out. Well, this year is different. These are 52 week projects, so I’m only obligated to take 3 photos a week instead of 1 photo a day. You see, the problem with 1 photo a day is there’s a lot of pressure. And that pressure can be overwhelming, especially when you want to make sure that the photos you post are decent.

With these projects, I’m easing the pressure and focusing less on perfection and more on picking up my camera {last year, I went months without shooting anything} and being creative. I also want to do a better of job of documenting my life. Looking back, that’s probably one of my biggest regrets: I didn’t take enough pictures of my kids when they were little and I didn’t take enough pictures of The Hubs and me through the years. I want to change that…
