Saturday Fun on the Farm

Usually on a Saturday afternoon I can be found at home doing laundry or running the kids around because, well, that’s what my life has become ~ wash woman, taxi driver and cook.  However, today my husband asked me to ride with him down to our friends’ farm to pick up some tires for his car and I’m so glad I went.  Why?  BABY PYGMY GOATS!!!!

This has been a crazy week for me as far as animals go.  First I saw a Bearded Dragon (I would only touch her with one finger), then my dog ran off after some rabbits (I caught him after the longest game of chase ever) and today I held a baby goat.

My friends’ son is a true blue animal lover.  He has several pygmy goats, rabbits, chickens, a couple of ducks and a horse.  I’ve never been much of a country girl but I do have fun at their house every time I go over there…

Triplets!!!

I apologize for the blurriness of the pictures but those little guys are squirmy! As soon as I put the baby down it literally started hopping around the pen. And the bleating was loud and incredibly cute…
