Shades of Autumn Photo Challenge: Orange

If I thought last week’s challenge to find something yellow was next to impossible, I cannot begin to explain how hard finding something orange was…  Seriously, where is all of the orange stuff? Kid you not, even the pumpkins were white. White pumpkins?! What is that? Then I remembered that I’d picked up some oranges on my last trip to the grocery store, so I took them out of the fridge and snapped away.

  • I love the photos of the sun! And you’re right, sometimes it’s okay to just stop and enjoy God’s creation. Even if it means that you’re going to be late for church.
Thanks for joining us in the Shades of Autumn Photo Challenge again this week. I’m so sorry that I couldn’t pull it together to come to the conference. Let me know if you’re planning on coming out for Bloggy Boot Camp in April. We can meet then! Anyway, hope you’re having fun. Have a great weekend.

    • Kristi, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family…

I ended up not going to the conference ~ on Friday my 14 year old invited me to school for lunch and she looked heartbroken when I said I couldn’t make it. Then today we decided to go on a Civil War driving tour for her history class. I’m out the cost of the conference but we made some beautiful memories.

I’ll have to look into the Bloggy Boot Camp…

  • Beautiful sky nice shots

  • Barbara Jackson

The colour of that sky is just glorious – great capture!

    • Isn’t it beautiful? Love the colors of the sky…

  • Cedar

  • i love the last one! http://whisperedbeauty.blogspot.com/2011/10/shades-of-autumn.html

  • Beautiful sunset! Great idea for the first few photos too, I had a tough time finding orange in nature, Chicago seems to have skipped that colour and then we’ve been having a lot of rain too.

Thanks so much for taking part in the Shades of Autumn Photo Challenge, I’m looking forward to seeing your photos for the next colour, red!

    • Thank you. Yeah, I thought yellow was tough, orange was almost impossible.

  • Lovely capture of the sunset.. I too had to think creatively for shots of Orange.

    • Thank you. That sunset was a gift.
