Coffee Talk {Living Outside the Stacks}1. Did you watch the debate the other night? I did but that’s not what I want to talk about… What I want to talk about is the people who seem to have a hard time understanding that they cannot use their corporate Twitter accounts to say stupid stuff, it will cost them their jobs. Really, person behind the KitchenAid tweet that read: “Obamas gma even knew it was going 2 b bad! She died 3 days b4 he became president.” Agree with the President or not, show a little respect. And common sense. KitchenAid has apologized for the insensitive tweet.

2. Big ups to TV anchor, Jennifer Livingston, who took to the air to check a viewer who sent a nasty email about her weight. Jennifer told the individual that they know nothing about her and that she’s more than a number on a scale. I’m glad she did this. I’m tired of anonymous trolls being mean to people for no reason other than they can.

3. A Chicago police chopper found a pot farm worth $10 million. What the heck? The field is reported to be the size of two football fields. Apparently, the pot was hidden from view by some really tall, ummmm, grass. Duuuude….

4. A restaurant in Kentucky was shut down because patrons saw the staff wheeling road kill into the kitchen. I kid you not. The owners said they didn’t know they weren’t allowed to do that. *blank stare*

What had you scratching your head this week?
