Tuesday Wrap~Up

I went to the gym today and, omg, it felt good. Normally, today would have been either an EA Sports or Cardio Express day but I really wanted to get on the treadmill and walk. I’ve found that walking allows me to just zone out and not think about anything. I ended up walking on it for 45 minutes with DC Talk pumpin’ in my head. Sweat was pouring down my face… Yeah, endorphin high. I want to build up to running on the treadmill but I’m still too afraid (I just keep imagining myself slipping and falling on the thing and getting smacked in the face with the track).

Yesterday I told my husband that I want to register to run my first 5K, he looked a little dubious but today I walked 3 miles in 45 minutes, so I think I can handle a run. I’ve found a couple that I’m interested in so now it’s just a matter of picking one, of course, I’ll post as soon as I do.

I need to up my fruits and vegetables servings by at least 2 servings, but overall I’m happy with my food intake today. I didn’t eat all of the lasagna and I barely ate half of the slice of garlic bread. Yay for portion control. As far as the fries and nuggets go, not the best but I really needed to eat something.
So that’s it for today. Tomorrow is Weigh~In Wednesday and I’m very nervous…
