Week 22: Negative Space {#OurProject52}

This week’s theme is negative space. One of my favorites. I think because I spend so much of my day thinking and working on so many different things that I like having my eye focus on one thing at a time when looking at photographs. It’s kind of calming. Therapeutic. Even if the topics give me a little jolt:

Negative Space Boston Creme Donut {Living Outside the Stacks}The Boy and Miss 19 went to Krispy Kreme today and brought home so donuts. Have I mentioned how much I love my kids?

Negative Space The Walking Dead Mug {Living Outside the Stacks} #OurProject52

Just a little heads up to the writers of The Walking Dead. I’m in Georgia now. And I’m a librarian. I can find you.

Negative Space Squeekerz {Living Outside the Stacks} #OurProject52

This is Squeekerz, he owns us. Or, at least, that’s how it feels. He’s bossy and demanding, with a very bad attitude, yet we love him dearly.

Happy Clicking,

Daenel T {Living Outside the Stacks}

  • We had Krispy Kreme the other day. They just recently opened a location in our area and I have been there more than I need to !

    I love negative space as well. I think mine is by default because I love law of thirds and putting my subject off to the far right or left creating the negative space.

    Welcome to Georgia!

    • Thank you, Mimi. So far I’m loving it here but, oh my gosh, does it rain a lot!

      We pass by Krispy Kreme every day on our way to town, it’s attached to our gas station. So convenient and so wrong.

  • Oh my gosh, that donut!!! The hubby & I are on a eat-less-sugar plan. (Hopefully so he can lose his belly fat, and for me… to try and avoid gestational diabetes.) But that looks SOOOO good right now!!!

    • I don’t get a sweet tooth very often, but when I do, it’s pretty intense. And having the kids around does not help at all. So glad they’ll be leaving at the end of the summer. LOL They’re such enablers.

  • a stylish little lady

    yes to krispy kreme! i don’t have much of a sweet tooth, but i love the plain glazed and could eat a whole box! and squeerkerz may have a case of little man (dog) syndrome going on! but you gotta love him!

    • I like the jelly and the Boston Cream! The Hubs and the kids like the plain glazed.

      Squeekerz has gotten out of control since the move. Acting like he runs the house. LOL

  • I love these photos. And the one of Squeekerz is the best! I love following his antics on your facebook feed.

    • Thank you. Squeekerz has provided us with so many laughs. Sometimes I wonder if he understands how funny and bizarre he truly is.
