I honestly cannot remember the last time I got up to see the sunrise. I tried this morning and missed. To be fair, this is the only morning I tried because I thought this week’s prompt was food. I’m not ready for that one either. At least I have another week to prep for that one. Anyway…
I did get up relatively early to make lunch for The Hubs. After he left for work, I figured I’d try to take a couple of photos for today’s post. The battery in my remote died so I took a quick one with my cell phone and an even quicker one with the timer on my Nikon.

Even though I don’t wake up with the sun, I do start each day with a cup of coffee. Some days it’s more needed than others… If you’d like to join me for a cup, I’m on Instagram just about every morning.

I only had one time to get this shot because Squeekerz was ready to run out the door. He’s not a fan of the camera but he’ll indulge me every now and then as long as there are treats in his sight line. Or I’m holding on to his leash.
