Wow, I don’t know what’s going on with me lately.  Well, actually, I do.  Have you ever walked into your closet, looked at all your clothes and thought I have nothing to wear?  Yep, that’s where I’ve been every day.  Either that or the clothes I want to wear simply don’t fit.  Therefore, I only have two outfits this week.  Next week will be better.  I’ll even participate in the challenge being hosted by Aubree at a Yellow Blackbird: a creative blog  (click here to find out more about her challenges).

What I Wore Monday

What I Wore Monday

I wore this outfit before and thought it looked really cute, not so much this go around.  I don’t know if it’s because I buttoned the cardi, which I didn’t do last time or what.  The ring is a cute little somethin’ somethin’ I picked up at Pier 1.  I know, right?  Who knew they had jewelry?  The shoes are a deep wine color.  I think that’s the one thing I did right ~ the color combination.  The cardi is a lime green, the crocheted flower pin (which I made) is turquoise, cream and lime green and the ring is light and dark lime green.  Tres funky, no?

What I Wore Tuesday

What I Wore Tuesday

What can I say about this outfit?  Hmmmm….  I’m kind of iffy on this.  I’ve had the brown t~shirt for a couple of months and never worn it before.  It’s cute but a little clingy around the tummy area.  I layered it with a burgundy tank, which I actually liked.  The beaded necklace is near and dear to my heart because it was made for me by a close friend.  I try to wear it at least once or twice a week.  The long necklace is a one of my faves but I don’t wear it a lot because it makes a heckuva lot of noise when I walk.  The feather headband is another one of those iffy things.  Am I too old to pull it off?  Is it too big for my head?  I dunno.

Do you ever wonder if something you’re wearing is age appropriate?
