Women Helping Women to Build Sustainable Communities

My daughter has inherited my love for funky jewelry so I was thrilled when I found out about Global Goods Partners, a company dedicated to empowering women through fair trade. Not only do they sell handcrafted jewelry (and other accessories) but each purchase enables women in developing countries to support their families. Furthermore, each item is created with an eye towards sustainability ~ a win for the women and for the environment. I purchased three bracelets, which I know my daughter will absolutely love and I know she’ll be happy to know that the purchase will help women in India to care for their families.

GGP and their partner companies live up to the following Fair Trade Standards:

*fair living wages paid
*handcrafted products
*eco-conscious production
*open dialogue
*engagement in community development
*creation of sustainable livelihood

If you’re looking for some fun stocking stuffers or interesting wares for your home, check out GGP. For more information about GGP, go here.
