Today’s Women of Faith Wednesday question is “If you could go back in time and tell your teenage self one thing, what would you say?”  Hmmm….there are so many things that my teenaged self needed to hear.

Psalms 37:4 (NIV) says:  “Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.”  Had I found the truth of that verse, I would have saved myself so much heartbreak and rejection.  The biggest desire of my teenaged heart was to be truly and completely loved and valued.  Not the boyfriend~girlfriend kind of love but that love that comes from having a family that instills in you a sense of value and self~worth.  You know, the kind of love that gives you the confidence to face the world head on, knowing that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to do.  So, if I could go back in time and talk to my teenaged self, I’d say: “You are loved.”

Now it’s your turn to tell me, what would you like to tell your teenaged self?
