This was a pretty long week. I don’t know if I mentioned it here, but we’re in the process of trying to buy a new home and, lemme tell ya, the process is exhausting.
The hubs and I are a realtor’s dream, we know what we want, we find it and we get it. We accept that houses will have things wrong, even new homes, we call it “character”. We try not to nit pick, we talk about changing the things we can and dealing with what we can’t. It’s just that simple…
So this week has been dealing with the butterflies and dragonflies flittering in my stomach while we wait on inspections and appraisals and all the other little details. While it has been an emotional time, it hasn’t been nearly as stressful as it was the first time we bought a home 8 or 9 years ago. For that, I’m incredibly happy.
The plan is to close by 20 August, so, hopefully, on 21 August I’ll have pictures of our new home to post!
