THE AGELESS STYLE LINKUP

Can you believe it’s already August? Seriously, where did the month go? It feels like it has just flown by, but I’m ready for Autumn {doesn’t it seem we’re always rushing the seasons?}. Anyway, with the beginning of a new month, comes a new Ageless Style Linkup! The first Tuesday of every month, ten ladies ~ over the age of 40 ~ get together and share their interpretation of a specific style theme. Our goal is to show you that “style doesn’t have an age limit.”

Nicole from High Latitude Style chose Graphic Tees for this month’s theme and I couldn’t be more pleased. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I’m a big graphic / message tee fan. I just think they’re a super fun way of dressing up or down my wardrobe.

MY LOOK

He Calls Me Blameless {living outside the stacks}

My faith is incredibly important to me, so I love being able to wear my faith on my sleeve {or, in this case, on my chest}. And, really, is there a more beautiful message than letting people know that He has erased their sins and loves them no matter what? And this tee from Free Citizen does just that. You can read the original post here.

Hello I'm Fabulous {living outside the stacks}

I won this tee from Glenda at So What to Twenty and it’s one of my faves because it’s so simple that it’s glamorous. I opted to wear it with jeans and a statement necklace, but it could easily be paired with the same necklace and this leather midi skirt and pumps for a fun night out. You can read the original post here.

The Wizard of Oz {living outside the stacks}

And, of course, because I’m a librarian, I have my fair share of literary tees. One of my favorite books is The Wizard of Oz, so when I saw this tee I absolutely had to have it. I’ve worn it to work and everyone gushed over it. Really, flying monkeys in a retro style… What’s not to love? Can you tell Squeekerz wasn’t feeling my tee? You can read the original post here.

A Little Hippie A Little Hood {living outside the stacks}

I was scrolling Facebook one night when an ad for a trucker cap popped up on my screen and it read “A Little Hippie A Little Hood” and I was smitten. I knew I wouldn’t wear a trucker cap because big hair, but if I could find the message on a tee, then yes! So I clicked the link and there it was: A TEE in a variety of choices. Seriously, the message is sooooo me.

Do you wear graphic tees? I’ve paired my tees with different types of jeans in these photos, but I have saved some ideas on Pinterest that I’ll be trying for casual Fridays at work. I’ve also saved some tees that I’d like to add to my collection, check them out and let me know what you think.
