What I Wore Thursday

So I’ve been on the job for almost two weeks now and I can honestly say I have nothing to wear. My library is a pretty casual environment and my clothes swing in polar directions, they’re either too dressy or too casual. The hubs nearly had a stroke because I wore my “It’s All About the Shoes” tee shirt to work last FridayIn my defense, the tee referenced The Wizard of Oz, so it did kinda sorta have a tie in to my work as a librarianAccept that I’m working in an academic library with a bunch of grown ups. So I’ve been trying to pin some possible outfits on Pinterest and I plan to build my wardrobe accordingly. You can check out my outfit board here.

What I Wore Thursday

It’s been in the triple digits off and on for the past few weeks and the humidity has been over the top. Almost like walking into a steam room that spews hot lotion instead of steam. Absolutely disgusting. But the library borders on freezing. Do you see the problem? See the little flowers? I made those. I like dressing up my cardis with crocheted flowers, it sorta customizes them.

What I Wore Thursday

I’ve been wearing a lot of cardigans because they’re easy to slip on and off as needed but it makes me feel like such a librarian. Not that there’s anything wrong with that…

I’ve also been wearing a lot of bright colors. There’s really no rhyme or reason for it, accept that it’s summer and I feel like I should be bright and cheery. I do like the lime green with the purple and brown. It’s kinda fun, ya know?

So what did you wear this week?
