Hi, friends! How’re you doing? I’m doing well. The kids came home to celebrate Twin A’s and B’s 19th birthday. Nineteen, y’all! It was so nice having everyone home. Even Squeekerz was in an abnormally mellow mood.
This is what happened when I said “Hey, Guys, I need a group picture.” They’re so silly.
Instead of doing my usual weekend wrap up, I’m sharing some of my pictures from the September Photo a Day Challenge hosted by Fat Mum Slim. It’s been a long time since I’ve participated in a challenge and I’ve pretty much failed at the 52 Week Project: 2014 Edition, I decided to give it a try. Day 21 {Fave Word}
Faith is believing every need has been met even when I don’t know the hows or the whens. Faith is standing still when I want to turn and run. Faith is putting my trust in God and knowing it will be OK.
My faith in God meeting my needs is based on Matthew 6:25~34, which reads:
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall He not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Day 20 {Beginning}
It’s the beginning of a new day. A chance for new opportunities, new laughs, new tears… Enjoy it.
Day 19 {Even}
My daughters aren’t even waiting for me. That’s cool, go ahead and leave your mom behind…
Day 18 {Person}
Thanks to this person I’ve become much braver about taking pictures of people. She is so much fun and can totally work it.
What you can’t see is that she’s on a rickety metal balcony surrounded by a bazillion bugs.
Day 17 {Key}
I literally squealed with delight in Walmart when I found out I could have a monkey on my house key.
Day 16 {I Don’t Like}
I don’t like Tapioca Pudding. Seriously, are those fat globules in the pudding? However, The Hubs likes it, so when he’s away I like to send him random pics of me eating his stash. We’ve been married 20 years. It’s the little things…
Day 15 {Remember}
The last picture we took in our home in Pennsylvania before moving to Missouri. It was such an exciting time for us. New beginnings and all that…
