Happy November!

I love autumn – cozy sweaters shielding me from the cool breezy weather, falling leaves turning the ground beautiful shades of red, purple and brown, hot coffee swirling over my tongue, the smell of fresh baked orange cranberry nut bread wafting through the air…

Yes, I adore autumn and all that it brings with it. I will spend the time nestled in my home, reconnecting to my family – reestablishing bonds that were broken during the craziness that is summer, forgiving myself for summer projects left undone and reminding myself of all that I have accomplished. I’ll take more time to thank God for all that He has given to me, even though I know that I don’t deserve it. But I’ll accept His gifts with the promise to never take them for granted again.

As part of my effort to show gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon me, I will write a gratitude post every day. This will be my contribution to National Blog Posting Month which requires that participants write a post every day. If you’d like to participate, go here and register. Don’t forget to grab a badge and post your link.
