Betcha didn’t think I’d ever participate in a photo meme that involves birds, did you? You know, because I’m deathly afraid of them and all. Well, I couldn’t help it. Last year, I took the most beautiful pictures of a bird’s nest and the little hatchlings that lived in it.
Last spring, I stuck a fern outside on my lamp post and a few weeks later a bird decided to build a nest in it. For a little over a month, I watched the nest to see what happened. Let me tell you, taking these pictures became very dangerous towards the end because Momma Bird started dive bombing at my head. But I think the shots were worth all attempts on my life….
