I don’t know what’s going on with me. When I started this program I was so highly motivated but now I’m finding myself sorta dragging. I think it’s because I’m not seeing any changes in my body. I WANT TO SEE CHANGES! I’m glad I see the scale going down and I’m happy that the measuring tape is showing that *something* is happening but I want to see my jeans sagging. I want to see the belt get a little tighter. I want to see some muscles or something.
Please, for the love of pete, throw me a bone! Gimme a little flex.
So that’s my biggest challenge for this week ~ pressing on even though I’m not seeing any changes in my body.
My goals for this week are to try to get more than 5000 steps. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we’ll have some really nice days so that I can go walking. I do enjoy taking the dog out and I think he enjoys it too.
My other goal for this week is to increase my vegetable intake. I bought some celery and baby carrots with hummus so that I have something to munch on during the day. It really wasn’t until I started paying close attention to the posts by @lisasamples and @FrugalFemina that I realized that I wasn’t eating enough veggies. I seriously thought the serving(s) I was eating at dinner was enough. For vegetable serving reference, take a look at this and see how you’re doing.
