I realized something this week, well, it didn’t just hit me but it became a little more obvious this week:

  1. Most of my clothes are the same color/style
  2. My daughter dresses a lot like me, I don’t know if this is good or bad

I look at ladies in their suits with pumps and I think, Wow, she looks so classy and stylish. I try it and I look like a kid playing dress up. So I think next week, I’ll challenge myself to wear “grown up” clothes at least once. And by “grown up” I mean something structured and a little less boho…  How will you challenge yourself this week?

What I Wore Thursday

What I Wore Thursday
Tunic Sweater: Cato
Jeans, Clogs: Kmart

I spent Thursday with my daughter, Miss 18, who was home from college. We visited the Conservation Center, did a bit of shopping and did a lot of catching up.

What I Wore Friday

What I Wore Friday Tunic: Dots
Cardi: Old Navy
Tank, Jeans: Kmart
Earrings: Target
Shoes: Clark’s Indigo

Friday was errand day, you know, bill paying, grocery shopping and all that other stuff that makes being an adult not so much fun… But, hey, at least I looked cute while doing it, right? Hahaha

What I Wore Saturday

What I Wore Saturday Cardi: Target, Boots
Tunic: Dots

Jeans: Old Navy

Saturday was chill out at home day. Well, except for the 15 minutes that it took me to run out to Creative Ewe Pottery to pick up the coffee mug that I’d painted the previous week (click here to see the pictures).

What I Wore Sunday

What I Wore Sunday Cardi, Camisole: Old Navy
Flower Pins: Michael’s
Skirt: Rue 21
Bangles, Shoes: Target

I wore this outfit to church on Sunday. I wasn’t sure about the skirt when I bought it ($6, y’all!) but when I put it on, I loved it. I’m totally in to maxi skirts right now and I’m digging the funky print.

I’m linking up with Lindsay and Nina for their various fashion memes:
